ज्योतिर्लिङ्गमाहात्म्य-प्रस्तावना तथा सोमनाथ-प्रसङ्गः
Prologue to the Glory and Origin of the Jyotirliṅgas; Somnātha Episode Begins
यदि गर्भं जहातीह गृह्णामीत्यब्रवीत्पुनः । गर्भे मया पुनस्तत्र त्याजिते मुनिसत्तमाः
yadi garbhaṃ jahātīha gṛhṇāmītyabravītpunaḥ | garbhe mayā punastatra tyājite munisattamāḥ
Er sagte abermals: „Wenn sie hier den Embryo preisgibt, werde ich sie wieder annehmen.“ Und als der Embryo dort erneut verworfen wurde, o ihr besten der Weisen, (nahm er ihn wiederum an sich).
