नत्वा स्तुत्वा च विविधं कार्तिकेयं शिवात्मजम् । पुनः पप्रच्छ तत्त्वं हि विनयेन महामुनिः
natvā stutvā ca vividhaṃ kārtikeyaṃ śivātmajam | punaḥ papraccha tattvaṃ hi vinayena mahāmuniḥ
Nachdem er sich verneigt und Kārtikeya, den Sohn Śivas, auf vielfältige Weise gepriesen hatte, fragte der große Weise erneut, in Demut und Ehrfurcht, nach dem Tattva, dem wahren Prinzip.
