upaspṛśyāpa utthāya varaṇakramamārabhet | pavitrapāṇiḥ saṃspṛśya pāṇī brāhmaṇayorvadet

Translation

Nachdem man zur Reinigung Wasser geschlürft und sich erhoben hat, soll man die rechte Reihenfolge der feierlichen Einladung und Ehrung der Offizianten beginnen. Mit rituell gereinigter Hand und nach ehrfürchtiger Berührung soll man die Hände der beiden Brāhmaṇas ansprechen und um ihre Mitwirkung am Ritus bitten.
