Durch wessen Strahlen dieses ganze Weltall ringsum erglänzt; Er, erfüllt von allen göttlichen Herrschaften, heißt selbst Sarveśvara — der Herr über alles.

It declares Shiva as Pati (the Supreme Lord) whose conscious radiance enables the world to appear and function; recognizing Him as the inner light supports detachment from pāśa (bondage) and turns the seeker toward liberation.
The Linga is revered as the sign of the all-pervading Lord whose light sustains the cosmos; Saguna worship focuses the mind on Sarveśvara’s sovereignty, while pointing ultimately to His transcendent, all-illuminating nature.
Meditate on Shiva as the light behind all perception and repeat the Pañcākṣarī (“Om Namaḥ Śivāya”) with steady awareness; this aligns devotion (bhakti) with inner contemplation (dhyāna) of Sarveśvara.
