ततस्तेवानराःसर्वेशोणितौघपरिप्लुताः ।।।।ध्वजवर्मरथानश्वान्नानाप्रहरणानि च ।आप्लुत्याप्लुत्यसमरेवानरेन्द्राबभञ्चिरे ।।।।

Transliteration

tatas te vānarāḥ sarve śoṇitaugha-pariplutāḥ |

dhvaja-varma-rathān aśvān nānā-praharaṇāni ca |

āplutyāplutya samare vānarendrā babhañcire ||

Translation

Daraufhin sprangen all jene Vānara, von Blutströmen durchnässt, im Kampf immer wieder empor; und die Anführer der Vānara zerschmetterten Banner, Panzer, Wagen, Pferde und Waffen mancherlei Art.
