औषधिपर्वताहरणम् / The Retrieval of the Herb
Bearing Mountain
स सागरंघूर्णितवीचिमालंतथाभृशंभ्रामितसर्वसत्त्वम् ।समीक्षमाणस्सहसाजगामचक्रंयथाविष्णुकराग्रमुक्तम् ।।6.74.52।।
sa sāgaraṃ ghūrṇita-vīci-mālaṃ tathābhṛśaṃ bhrāmita-sarva-sattvam | samīkṣamāṇaḥ sahasā jagāma cakraṃ yathā viṣṇu-karāgra-muktam ||
Den Ozean betrachtend—dessen Wellenkränze wirbelten und dessen Wesen heftig umhergeschleudert wurden—stürmte er plötzlich dahin, wie Viṣṇus Diskus, vom Rand seiner Hand entsandt.
Observing the ocean whose waves were made to revolve round (by his speed), exceedingly, whose creatures were made to whirl round violently (by the wind force generated by his speed), he went forth like the wheel loosened from Vishnu's hand.
