इन्द्रजितः ब्रह्मास्त्र-यागः तथा वानरसेनाविध्वंसः
Indrajit’s Brahmastra Rite and the Crushing of the Vanara Host
आवांतुदृष्टवापतितौविसंज्ञौनिवृत्तयुद्दौगतरोषहर्षे ।ध्रुवंप्रवेक्ष्यत्यमरारिवासमसौसमादायरणाग्रलक्ष्मीम् ।।।।
āvāṃ tu dṛṣṭvā patitau visaṃjñau nivṛtta-yuddhau gata-roṣa-harṣe |
dhruvaṃ pravekṣyaty amarāri-vāsam asau samādāya raṇāgra-lakṣmīm ||
Doch wenn er uns beide gefallen und bewusstlos sieht — der Kampf erloschen, Zorn und Jubel verzehrt — wird er gewiss in die Wohnstatt der Feinde der Götter, nach Laṅkā, eintreten, im Glauben, er habe den Glanz des Sieges an der Spitze der Schlacht errungen.
