Transliteration

te vadhyamānāḥ samare vānarāḥ pādapāyudhāḥ |

abhyavarṣanta sahasā rāvaṇiṃ śaila-pādapaiḥ ||

Translation

Obwohl sie im Kampf niedergemacht wurden, überschütteten die Vānaras—mit ausgerissenen Bäumen bewaffnet—Rāvaṇas Sohn (Indrajit) plötzlich mit Felsen und Baumstämmen.
