कुम्भकर्णवधः

The Slaying of Kumbhakarna

इत्युक्तवाक्यंतद्रक्षःप्रोवाचस्तुतिसंहितम् ।मृधेघोरतरंवाक्यंसौमित्रिःप्रहसन्निव ।।।।

ity uktavākyaṃ tad rakṣaḥ provāca stuti-saṃhitam | mṛdhe ghorataraṃ vākyaṃ saumitriḥ prahasann iva ||

Als jener Rākṣasa auf dem Schlachtfeld prahlerische, überaus schreckliche Worte gesprochen hatte, erwiderte Saumitri, fast als lache er.
