Garuda’s Arrival and the Release from the Serpent-Arrow Bond
अथाब्रवीद्वानरेन्द्रस्सुग्रीवःपुत्रमङ्गदम् ।नानिमित्तमिदंमन्येभवितव्यंभयेनतु ।।6.50.4।।
athābravīd vānarendraḥ sugrīvaḥ putram aṅgadam |
nānimittam idaṃ manye bhavitavyaṃ bhayena tu ||6.50.4||
Da sprach Sugrīva, der Herr der Vānaras, zu seinem Sohn Aṅgada: „Ich glaube nicht, dass dieses Getöse ohne Ursache ist; gewiss steht etwas Furchtbares bevor.“
Then all the Vanaras perceived Garuda endowed with mighty prowess, the son of Vinatha blazing like fire.
Responsible leadership: a ruler should read signs carefully, avoid panic, and prepare to protect others when danger is suspected.
Sugrīva observes unusual disturbance among the Vānara forces and warns Aṅgada that it likely has a serious cause.
