नकालःकपिराजेन्द्रवैक्लब्यमवलम्बितुम् ।।6.46.37।।अतिस्नेहोऽप्यकालेऽस्मिन्मरणायोपकल्पते ।
na kālaḥ kapirājendra vaiklabyam avalambitum |
ati-sneho 'py akāle 'smin maraṇāyopakalpate ||6.46.37||
«O Herr der Affenkönige, dies ist nicht die Zeit, sich an Mutlosigkeit zu klammern; selbst übergroße Anhänglichkeit wird, wenn sie zur Unzeit kommt, zur Ursache, die in den Tod führt.»
"O king of monkeys! This is not the time for faint heartedness. Extreme attachment at this time will lead us to death."
Dharma requires courage and timely restraint: attachment is virtuous when it supports duty, but destructive when it paralyzes action in crisis.
Sugrīva’s morale falters; Vibhīṣaṇa warns him that weakness and untimely emotional indulgence can doom their cause in battle.
Steadfastness (dhairya) and discerning detachment (viveka-yukta vairāgya) in service of righteous action.
