चतुश्चत्वारिंशः सर्गः (Sarga 44): निशायुद्धम्, धूलिरुधिरप्रवाहः, इन्द्रजितो मायायुद्धम्
युध्यतामेनतेषांतुतदावानरराक्षसाम् ।रविरस्तंगतोरात्रिःप्रवृत्ताप्राणहारिणी ।।।।
yudhyatām eva teṣāṃ tu tadā vānararākṣasām |
ravir astaṃ gato rātriḥ pravṛttā prāṇahāriṇī ||6.44.1||
Während Vānaras und Rākṣasas noch im Kampf verstrickt waren, ging die Sonne unter, und die Nacht begann — lebensraubend inmitten des Kriegsgetümmels.
Thus, as the Vanaras and Rakshasas were battling, the Sun began to set, which is not favourable to the life of Vanaras.
