Transliteration

rajanyām aprakāśaś ca santāpayati candramāḥ |

kṛṣṇa-raktāṃśu-paryanto yathā lokasya saṅkṣaye ||6.41.17||

Translation

In der Nacht spendet der Mond kein Licht und wirkt bedrückend; von schwarzen und roten Strahlen umkränzt — wie zur Zeit der Weltenauflösung.
