ताभ्यांचराभ्यांसहितोरावणःक्रोधमूर्छितः ।पश्यमानस्समुद्रंचपर्वतांश्चवनानिच ।।।।ददर्शपृथिवीदेशंसुसम्पूर्णंप्लवङ्गमैः ।

Transliteration

tābhyāṁ carābhyāṁ sahito rāvaṇaḥ krodha-mūrchitaḥ |

paśyamānaḥ samudraṁ ca parvatāṁś ca vanāni ca ||

dadarśa pṛthivī-deśaṁ su-sampūrṇaṁ plavaṅgamaiḥ ||6.26.6||

Translation

Von jenen beiden Spähern begleitet, schaute Rāvaṇa, vom Zorn benebelt, auf Meer, Berge und Wälder und sah das ganze Landgebiet vollständig von Vānaras erfüllt.
