लङ्कानिरीक्षणं व्यूहविन्यासश्च
Survey of Lanka and Deployment of the Battle Formation
सागरस्येवमेवेगोमारुतस्येवमेगति: ।नहिदाशरथिर्वेदतेनमांयोद्धुमिच्छति ।।।।
sāgarasyeva me vegaḥ mārutasyeva me gatiḥ |
na hi dāśarathir veda tena māṃ yoddhum icchati ||
„Mein Ansturm ist wie das Aufwallen des Ozeans, und meine Schnelligkeit wie der Wind. Der Sohn Daśarathas weiß das nicht; darum begehrt er, mit mir zu kämpfen.“
