लङ्कानिरीक्षणं व्यूहविन्यासश्च
Survey of Lanka and Deployment of the Battle Formation
नैवसम्भाषितुंशक्यास्सम्प्रश्नोऽत्रनलभ्यते ।प्रकृत्याकोपनास्तीक्ष्णानानराराक्षसाधिप ।।।।
naiva sambhāṣituṃ śakyāḥ sampraśno 'tra na labhyate |
prakṛtyā kopanās tīkṣṇā vānarā rākṣasādhipa ||
O Herr der Rākṣasas, dort war kein Gespräch möglich; nicht einmal befragen konnte ich sie. Von Natur aus sind die Vānaras jähzornig und von schneidender Wildheit.
"O king of Rakshasas! It was not possible to negotiate there with the Vanaras). I had no opportunity to interrogate with them. By nature, Vanaras are violent and are highly furious."
