Portents Before the March to Laṅkā
वाताश्चकलुषावान्तिकम्पतेचवसुन्धराः ।पर्वताग्राणिवेपन्तेपतन्तिचमहीरुहाः ।।6.23.4।।
vātāś ca kaluṣā vānti kampate ca vasundharā | parvatāgrāṇi vepante patanti ca mahīruhāḥ ||
«Staubbeladene Winde wehen; selbst die Erde bebt; die Gipfel der Berge erzittern, und große Bäume brechen und stürzen.»
"The earth will turn into a mass of flesh and blood and will be covered by the mountains and tridents hurled by Vanaras and Rakshasas."
