nadarśayatisāmnāmesāgarorūpamātmanaḥ ||21||

sāgaraṃśoṣayiṣyāmipad bhyāṃyāntuplavaṅgamāḥ ||22||

Translation

„Der Ozean zeigt mir sein wahres Wesen nicht, selbst wenn ich ihn mit beschwichtigenden Worten anrede. O Saumitrī, bring den Bogen und die Pfeile, gleich giftigen Schlangen; ich werde das Meer austrocknen—dann mögen die Vānaras zu Fuß hinübergehen.“
