विभीषण–इन्द्रजित् संवादः

Vibhishana and Indrajit: Counsel, Boast, and Rebuttal

सत्त्वेनवीर्येणपराक्रमेणशौर्येणधैर्येणचतेजसाच ।एकःकुलेऽस्मिन्पुरुषोविमुक्तोविभीषणस्तातकनिष्ठएषः ।।6.15.3।।

sattvena vīryeṇa parākrameṇa śauryeṇa dhairyeṇa ca tejasā ca | ekaḥ kule 'smin puruṣo vimukto vibhīṣaṇas tāta-kaniṣṭha eṣaḥ ||6.15.3||

„In diesem Geschlecht gibt es nur einen Mann, dem Kraft, Tapferkeit, Tatendrang, Heldentum, Standhaftigkeit und Glanz fehlen: dieser Vibhīṣaṇa, der jüngere Bruder meines Vaters.“
