Mahāpārśva’s Counsel and Rāvaṇa’s Confession of Brahmā’s Curse
कुम्भकर्णस्सहास्माभिरिन्द्रजिच्चमहाबलः ।प्रतिषेधयितुंशक्तौसवज्रमपिवज्रिणम् ।।।।

Kumbhakarṇa—zusammen mit uns—und der überaus mächtige Indrajit vermögen selbst Vajrin (Indra) zurückzuschlagen, auch wenn er den Donnerkeil trägt.
"Kumbhakarna accompanied by Indrajith of extraordinary strength have the power to ward off even if Indra, armed with thunderbolt comes."
It highlights the delusion of strength: dharma warns that power without righteousness becomes arrogance, and arrogance blinds one to truth and consequence.
Rāvaṇa’s side is being reassured that their champions can withstand even divine opposition, to embolden him against Rāma.
The verse showcases martial confidence (śaurya) but framed as boastful overconfidence; true virtue would pair strength with humility and justice.
