सीतासमीपगमनम् / Sītā Brought Near to Rāma

दीर्घमुष्णंविनिःश्वस्यजगतीमवलोकयन् ।उवाचमेघसङ्काशंविभीषणमुपस्थितम् ।।।।
dīrgham uṣṇaṃ viniḥśvasya jagatīm avalokayan | uvāca megha-saṅkāśaṃ vibhīṣaṇam upasthitam ||
Einen langen, heißen Atemzug ausstoßend und den Blick zur Erde senkend, sprach Rāma zu Vibhīṣaṇa, der nahe stand, dunkel wie eine Regenwolke.
Drawing a long hot breath, looking at the ground, he spoke to Vibheeshana, who was like a cloud standing there.
Dharma here is self-restraint: even in intense emotion, Rāma composes himself and proceeds through orderly speech and rightful action rather than impulsive reaction.
After the war’s climax, Rāma turns to Vibhīṣaṇa to initiate the next steps leading to Sītā’s presentation.
Rāma’s controlled leadership—his ability to govern emotion and act with deliberation.
