Als Rāma Vibhīṣaṇa sah—dessen Vorhaben vollendet und dessen Stellung gefestigt war—nahm er all diese Gaben an, einzig um ihn zu erfreuen.
Rama having accomplished the task, thoughtfully pleased did not desire for the offerings, accepted them to please Vibheeshana.
Dharma includes sensitivity to others’ intentions: Rama accepts the gifts not from need, but to honor Vibhishana’s devotion and preserve auspicious social bonds.
After victory, Vibhishana offers gifts; Rama receives them as a gracious act to affirm Vibhishana’s rightful place and goodwill.
Rama’s grace and restraint: he is not driven by gain, yet he upholds etiquette and affection by accepting for the giver’s happiness.
