Shloka 159

इति शोकसमाविष्टश्चिन्तामहमुपागतः।।5.58.158।।अथाहं वाचमश्रौषं चारणानां शुभाक्षराम्।जानकी न च दग्धेति विस्मयोदन्तभाषिणाम्।।5.58.159।।

iti śoka-samāviṣṭaś cintām aham upāgataḥ |

athāhaṃ vācam aśrauṣaṃ cāraṇānāṃ śubhākṣarām |

jānakī na ca dagdheti vismayodanta-bhāṣiṇām ||

Von Kummer überwältigt, war ich in Sorge versunken; da vernahm ich die glückverheißenden Worte der Cāraṇas, die als wunderbare Kunde verkündeten: „Jānakī ist nicht verbrannt.“
