Hanumān’s Return, Roar of Success, and the Announcement “Sītā Seen”
श्रोतुकामास्समुद्रस्य लङ्घनं वानरोत्तमाः।।।।दर्शनं चापि लङ्कायास्सीताया रावणस्य च।तस्थुः प्राञ्जलयस्सर्वे हनुमद्वचनोन्मुखाः।।।।
śrotukāmāḥ samudrasya laṅghanaṃ vānarottamāḥ |
darśanaṃ cāpi laṅkāyāḥ sītāyā rāvaṇasya ca |
tasthuḥ prāñjalayaḥ sarve hanumad-vacan-onmukhāḥ ||
Begierig, vom Überspringen des Ozeans zu hören und auch von der Schau Laṅkās, Sītās und Rāvaṇas, standen alle erlesensten Vānara mit gefalteten Händen da, ganz auf Hanumans Worte gerichtet.
All the vanaras longing to listen to Hanuman about his crossing the ocean, seeing Lanka, Sita and Ravana kept looking at the face of Hanuman.
