Sita’s Lament and Resolve under Threat
पितुर्निदेशं नियमेन कृत्वा वनान्निवृत्तश्चरितव्रतश्च।स्त्रीभिस्तु मन्ये विपुलेक्षणाभिस्त्वं रंस्यसे वीतभयः कृतार्थः।।5.28.14।।
piturnideśaṃ niyamena kṛtvā vanān nivṛttaś caritavrataś ca | strībhis tu manye vipulekṣaṇābhis tvaṃ raṃsyase vītabhayaḥ kṛtārthaḥ ||5.28.14||
Nachdem du den Befehl deines Vaters mit strenger Disziplin erfüllt und deine Gelübde vollendet hast, wirst du aus dem Wald zurückkehren; dann, so meine ich, furchtlos und am Ziel, wirst du dich an der Gesellschaft großäugiger Frauen erfreuen.
