Transliteration

sāgaraś ca mayā krāntaḥ śrīmān nadanadīpatiḥ |

asyā hetor viśālākṣyāḥ purī ceyam avekṣitā ||5.16.12||

Translation

Um jener großäugigen Herrin (Sītā) willen überquerte ich den Ozean—den herrlichen Herrn der Flüsse und Ströme—und habe nun auch diese Stadt in Augenschein genommen.
