अशोकवनिकाविचारः
Survey of the Aśoka Grove and its Enchanted Landscape
यदि जीवति सा देवी ताराधिपनिभानना।आगमिष्यति साऽवश्यमिमां शिवजलां नदीम्।।।।
yadi jīvati sā devī tārādhipa-nibhānanā | āgamiṣyati sā 'vaśyam imāṃ śivajalāṃ nadīm ||
Wenn jene Königin noch lebt—deren Antlitz dem Herrn der Sterne, dem Mond, gleicht—wird sie gewiss zu diesem Fluss mit glückverheißendem Wasser kommen.
"The moon-faced queen will certainly come to this stream of auspicious water if she is surviving."
Dharma is sustained through hope grounded in truthfulness: Hanumān does not indulge in despair but reasons ethically and patiently, holding to the possibility of Sītā’s survival and rightful reunion with Rāma.
While concealed in the grove, Hanumān anticipates Sītā’s movements and infers she may come to the nearby auspicious water-source.
Hanumān’s steadfast optimism and careful inference (yukti), guided by devotion and the mission’s moral purpose.
