अङ्गदोपदेशः समुद्रदर्शन-विषादश्च
Angada’s Counsel and the Vanaras’ Despondency at the Ocean
यदि कश्चित्समर्थो वस्सागरप्लवने हरिः।स ददा त्विह न शशीघ्रं पुण्यामभयदक्षिणाम्।।।।
yadi kaścit samartho vaḥ sāgaraplavane hariḥ | sa dadātu iha naḥ śīghraṃ puṇyām abhayadakṣiṇām ||
Wenn unter euch ein Vānara ist, der fähig ist, den Ozean zu überspringen, so möge er uns hier und jetzt sogleich die heilige Gabe der Furchtlosigkeit gewähren: die Zusicherung der Sicherheit durch Gelingen.
