Sugriva’s Account of Enmity and Appeal to Rama
ततः क्रोधसमाविष्टं सम्रब्धं तमुपागतम्।अहं प्रसादयाञ्चक्रे भ्रातरं प्रियकाम्यया
tataḥ krodhasamāviṣṭaṃ samrabdhaṃ tam upāgatam | ahaṃ prasādayāñ cakre bhrātaraṃ priyakāmyayā ||
Darauf, als mein Bruder kam, erregt und vom Zorn überwältigt, suchte ich ihn zu besänftigen, im Streben nach dem, was uns lieb und heilsam war.
