Transliteration

tataḥ prīteṣu nṛpatir dvijeṣu dvijavatsalaḥ | praṇāmam akarot teṣāṃ harṣaparyākulekṣaṇaḥ ||

Translation

Als die Brāhmaṇen zufrieden waren, verneigte sich der König—den Zweimalgeborenen stets zugetan—ehrfürchtig vor ihnen; seine Augen bebten vor Freude.
