kaccid vṛddhāṃś ca bālāṃś ca vaidyāmukhyāṃś ca rāghava | dānena manasā vācā tribhir etair bubhūṣase ||
O Rāghava, suchst du das Wohl des Reiches, indem du die Alten, die Kinder und die Vornehmsten unter den Gelehrten förderst—durch Gaben, wohlwollenden Sinn und gütige Rede, durch diese drei?
