पम्पा-ऋष्यमूक-मार्गोपदेशः
Guidance to Pampa and Rishyamuka; counsel to befriend Sugriva
ऋष्यमूकश्च पम्पायाः पुरस्तात्पुष्पितद्रुमः।सुदुःखारोहणो नाम शिशुनागाभिरक्षितः।।3.73.31।।उदारो ब्रह्मणा चैव पूर्वकाले विनिर्मितः।
ṛṣyamūkaś ca pampāyāḥ purastāt puṣpitadrumaḥ | suduḥkhārohaṇo nāma śiśunāgābhirakṣitaḥ || udāro brahmaṇā caiva pūrvakāle vinirmitaḥ |
Vor dem See Pampā erhebt sich der Berg Ṛṣyamūka, geschmückt mit blühenden Bäumen; er heißt „Schwer zu erklimmen“ und wird von jungen Elefanten bewacht. Erhaben und hoch wurde er in uralter Zeit von Brahmā gestaltet.
