O großer Weiser, dein Geist ist selbst für die Götter schwer zu ergründen. Doch dein Wissen ist durch Kummer eingeschläfert; ich spreche nur, um diese Weisheit in dir zu wecken.
Even gods cannot fathom your intellect. I am only trying to rouse your wisdom your sorrow has sent to sleep.
Dharma is the re-awakening of discernment when emotions overwhelm: grief may cloud wisdom, but righteous living demands restoring clarity and acting from truth.
Lakshmana respectfully states that Rama’s grief has temporarily obscured his famed wisdom, and Lakshmana’s role is to awaken Rama’s capacity to judge and act.
Rama’s profound intellect (mahāprājñatā) and Lakshmana’s loyal counsel—supporting a leader by restoring his inner satya-guided judgment.
