Agastya Directs Rama to Panchavati
राम प्रीतोऽस्मि भद्रं ते परितुष्टोऽस्मि लक्ष्मण।अभिवादयितुं यन्मां प्राप्तौ स्थ स्सह सीतया।।।।
rāma prīto ’smi bhadraṃ te parituṣṭo ’smi lakṣmaṇa | abhivādayituṃ yan māṃ prāptau sthaḥ saha sītayā ||
„Rāma, ich bin erfreut; Heil sei dir. Und auch du, Lakṣmaṇa, erfüllst mich mit Zufriedenheit, da ihr mit Sītā gekommen seid, um mir ehrerbietig zu huldigen.“
O Rama ,I am pleased. I wish you well. I am glad that both of you have come here with Sita to pay respect to me.
Mutual dharma of respect: visitors honor the sage, and the sage responds with blessing and gracious acceptance.
Agastya directly greets Rāma and Lakṣmaṇa, expressing joy that they have come with Sītā to pay respects.
