पञ्चाप्सरो-सरः कथनम् तथा अगस्त्याश्रममार्गनिर्देशः
Panchapsara Lake Account and Directions to Agastya
यक्षत्वममरत्वं च राज्यानि विविधानि च।अत्र देवाः प्रयच्छन्ति भूतैराराधिताश्शुभैः।।।।
yakṣatvam amaratvaṃ ca rājyāni vividhāni ca | atra devāḥ prayacchanti bhūtair ārādhitāḥ śubhaiḥ ||
Hier gewähren die Götter, erfreut durch die Verehrung frommer Wesen, den Stand eines Yakṣa, ja selbst Unsterblichkeit unter den Göttern, und mancherlei Herrschaft und Königreiche.
Worshipped by benevolent beings, the gods here bestow on them the status of demi-gods or of the immortals or several kinds of kingdoms.
Right worship and benevolent conduct are portrayed as generating auspicious results; divine boons follow ethical devotion rather than selfishness.
