Dāna: Types, Recipients, Timing, and Fruits

म्रियमाणेषु विप्रेषु ब्राह्मणः स तु गर्हितः । न तस्मात्प्रतिगृह्णीयुः न वसेयुश्च तेन हि

mriyamāṇeṣu vipreṣu brāhmaṇaḥ sa tu garhitaḥ | na tasmātpratigṛhṇīyuḥ na vaseyuśca tena hi

Wenn Brāhmaṇas in Not sterben, gilt jener Brāhmaṇa als tadelnswert. Darum soll man keine Gaben von ihm annehmen und auch nicht bei ihm wohnen.
