Prohibitions and Rules of Right Conduct (Ācāra): Theft, Speech, Purity, Residence, and Social Boundaries

न गच्छंस्तु पठेद्वापि न चैव स्वशिरः स्पृशेत् । न दंतैर्नखरोमाणि च्छिंद्यात्सुप्तं न बोधयेत्

na gacchaṃstu paṭhedvāpi na caiva svaśiraḥ spṛśet | na daṃtairnakharomāṇi cchiṃdyātsuptaṃ na bodhayet

Man soll nicht rezitieren, während man geht, und man soll auch nicht den eigenen Kopf berühren (während der Rezitation). Man soll Nägel oder Haare nicht mit den Zähnen abbeißen und schneiden, und man soll einen Schlafenden nicht wecken.
