Discipline of Action as Worship

भुंजीत प्रयतो नित्यं वाग्यतोऽनन्यमानसः । भैक्ष्येण वर्तयेन्नित्यं नैवेकान्नो भवेद्व्रती

bhuṃjīta prayato nityaṃ vāgyato'nanyamānasaḥ | bhaikṣyeṇa vartayennityaṃ naivekānno bhavedvratī

Der Gelübdebewahrer soll täglich in Reinheit und Zucht essen, die Rede zügeln und den Geist unzerstreut halten. Stets soll er von Almosen leben und niemals einer werden, der Speise nur aus einer einzigen Quelle (einem Haus) nimmt.
