Concept: Viṣṇu is the sustaining center of cosmic cycles—sleep (yoganidrā) and re-manifestation recur, while all orders of beings participate in the divine economy.

Application: See life’s cycles as opportunities to renew devotion and dharma; align one’s role (svadharma) with service to the divine center rather than egoic repetition.

Secondary Rasa: shanta

FAQs

It portrays Viṣṇu as repeatedly entering a state of cosmic rest and re-manifesting—suggesting cyclical divine manifestation across time.

The list emphasizes a cosmically significant locale or sphere where multiple orders of beings—divine, semi-divine, and sage-like—are present or converge.

Indirectly, it elevates reverence for Viṣṇu’s cosmic role and for sacred contexts associated with divine manifestation; a direct ethical injunction is not explicit in this single half-verse.
