Glorification of Vārāṇasī: Kapardīśvara Liṅga and the Piśācamocana Tīrtha

यत्र प्रसूतिर्जगतो विनाशो येनावृतं सर्वमिदं शिवेन । तं ब्रह्मपारं भगवंतमीशं प्रणम्य नित्यं शरणं प्रपद्ये

yatra prasūtirjagato vināśo yenāvṛtaṃ sarvamidaṃ śivena | taṃ brahmapāraṃ bhagavaṃtamīśaṃ praṇamya nityaṃ śaraṇaṃ prapadye

In Ihm liegen Geburt und Auflösung des Weltalls; von Ihm—der Śiva ist—wird diese ganze Welt durchdrungen und umhüllt. Nachdem ich mich stets vor jenem Herrn, dem Seligen jenseits des Brahman, verneigt habe, nehme ich unaufhörlich Zuflucht zu Ihm.
