Pilgrimage Merits

अमावास्यां तथा चैव राहुग्रस्ते दिवाकरे । यः श्राद्धं कुरुते मर्त्यस्तस्य पुण्यफलं शृणु

amāvāsyāṃ tathā caiva rāhugraste divākare | yaḥ śrāddhaṃ kurute martyastasya puṇyaphalaṃ śṛṇu

Am Tage der Amāvasyā und ebenso, wenn die Sonne von Rāhu bei einer Finsternis ergriffen wird, höre die verdienstvolle Frucht des von einem Sterblichen vollzogenen Śrāddha.
