वैशम्पायन उवाच । भगवंस्त्वत्प्रसादाच्च श्रुतं मे पावनं व्रतं । अपरं श्रोतुमिच्छामि ब्रध्नस्य च प्रियं च यत्

Vaiśampāyana sprach: „O Erhabener, durch deine Gnade habe ich das reinigende Gelübde vernommen. Nun wünsche ich Weiteres zu hören, nämlich auch das, was Bradhna lieb ist.“
