Divine vs Demonic Traits

स्नानदानादिभिः कार्ये व्रतैर्यज्ञैः सुरार्चनैः । कालो गच्छति पाठैश्च न क्लीबं वासरं भवेत्

snānadānādibhiḥ kārye vratairyajñaiḥ surārcanaiḥ | kālo gacchati pāṭhaiśca na klībaṃ vāsaraṃ bhavet

Der Tag soll mit heilsamen Werken verbracht werden—Bad, Almosen und dergleichen, Gelübden, Opfer (yajña) und Verehrung der Devas; und die Zeit soll auch in heiligen Rezitationen vergehen. Kein Tag möge kraftlos und fruchtlos werden.
