The Hymn to Gaṇapati

and the Rule of Worshipping Gaṇeśa First

दत्वा सर्वगुणं पुण्यं देवदेव्या तथा मुदा । कृतं गणाधिपत्यं च सर्वदेवाग्रतस्तदा

Nachdem er der Devadevyā freudig jene verdienstvolle Gabe, erfüllt von allen Vorzügen, dargebracht hatte, verlieh er sodann vor allen Göttern die Herrschaft über die Gaṇas.
