The Merit of Water-Works

क्षयं यास्यति नो वित्तं नोचेन्मे धर्मतो हि सा । बाढमुक्त्वायुतं तस्य गृहीत्वा स्वगृहं गतः

kṣayaṃ yāsyati no vittaṃ nocenme dharmato hi sā | bāḍhamuktvāyutaṃ tasya gṛhītvā svagṛhaṃ gataḥ

„Mein Vermögen wird nicht schwinden; denn dies wird rechtmäßig gemäß dem Dharma gegeben.“ Mit den Worten „So sei es“ nahm er von ihm die Summe von zehntausend und kehrte in sein Haus zurück.
