Sahasrākṣa

सुप्रसन्ना ततो देवी स्तोत्रेण परितोषिता । गत्वोवाच ततः सा च वरोस्मत्तो विगृह्यताम्

suprasannā tato devī stotreṇa paritoṣitā | gatvovāca tataḥ sā ca varosmatto vigṛhyatām

Da wurde die Göttin, höchst erfreut und durch den Lobgesang völlig zufrieden, herbeigekommen und sprach: „Wähle von mir eine Gabe (vara).“
