Umā’s Austerity, Kauśikī’s Manifestation, and Skanda’s Birth Leading to Tāraka’s Defeat

उत्तमान्युत्तमांगानि यद्येवं तु भविष्यति । उक्ता वै शैलजा प्राह भवत्वेवमनिंदिताः

uttamānyuttamāṃgāni yadyevaṃ tu bhaviṣyati | uktā vai śailajā prāha bhavatvevamaniṃditāḥ

„Wenn es denn so sein soll — dass die vortrefflichsten Glieder zum Höchsten werden“, da sprach Śailajā, so angesprochen: „So sei es, ihr Tadellosen.“
