FAQs

It depicts ominous beings (or forces) whose hissing roars and aggressive posture frighten all existence—both moving creatures and stationary beings—emphasizing a moment of cosmic dread.

'Carācaram' is a stock compound meaning 'the moving and the unmoving,' i.e., the entire world of beings and things, conveying totality.

The verse highlights how fear and inauspicious speech/noise can disturb the whole environment; Purāṇic narratives often contrast such destructive energies with auspicious sound (mantra, praise) that restores order.
