मानसायेति वै मालि विलोलायेति मूर्द्धजम् । सर्वात्मने शिरस्तद्वद्देवदेवस्य पूजयेत्

mānasāyeti vai māli vilolāyeti mūrddhajam | sarvātmane śirastadvaddevadevasya pūjayet

O Kranzträger, beim Darbringen (der Blume) spreche man „mānasāya“; beim Darbringen der Haare (Locken) spreche man „vilolāya“. Ebenso soll man, wenn man das Haupt darbringt, den Gott der Götter als „sarvātmā“, das Selbst aller, verehren.
