Brahmā’s Puṣkara Sacrifice and the Manifestation of Sarasvatī

with Tīrtha-Merit Teachings

कोकिलाभिस्स मालेव फेनकैः पुष्पितेव सा । हरेणेव यथा गंगा प्लक्षेणैव हि सा तथा

kokilābhissa māleva phenakaiḥ puṣpiteva sā | hareṇeva yathā gaṃgā plakṣeṇaiva hi sā tathā

Mit Kuckucken wie mit einer Girlande geschmückt und gleichsam mit schaumweißen Blüten erblüht, erschien sie so; wie die Gaṅgā stets mit Hari verbunden ist, so war auch sie wahrlich mit dem Plakṣa-Baum verbunden.
